Oftentimes called the GOP (short for Grand Old Party), the Republican party is one of two major political parties in the United States along with the Democratic party. What Is It Going to Take To Reform Health Care

The current Health Care debate has divided Americans amongst partisan lines more than any other subject in 2009. This debate continues in 2010. It is a debate that has seen accusations ranging from death panel’s to an entire government takeover of Health Care. It seems as though this problem is not going to be solved until a majority of Americans realize the effect that an efficient Health Care System is causing to our people and our economy.

Texas Style DUI

Now this is a clever way to avoid a DUI. Only a person in Texas could think of this.

From the county where drunk driving is considered a sport, comes this true story. Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a bar in Austin , Texas after last call the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so apparently intoxicated that he could barely walk.

The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity in which he tried his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car and fall into it.

Obama is agnostic over deficits

Will tough decisions about the budget get made?

So “agnostic definition” is something the Google searchers wants to know today. My guess is that it doesn’t have all that much to do with religion, which is typically how the word is applied. It has a few others uses, however. Courtesy of the New York Times‘ “Word of the Day,” here’s a snapshot:

agnostic •ag-’näs-tik, əg-• noun and adjective

noun: someone who is doubtful or noncommittal about something
noun: a person who claims that they cannot have true knowledge about the existence of God (but does not deny that God might exist)
adjective: of or pertaining to an agnostic or agnosticism
adjective: uncertain of all claims to knowledge

Jobs bill has bipartisan support, but is hacked to bits

Reid guts bill like a fish

By all accounts, the jobs bill was on the path to victory. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that he was going to cut the bill from $ 85 billion to $ 15 billion, cutting it to about an eighth its former size.

How did he do it? According to Fox News, he cut out “key priorities of both Republicans and Democrats.” Why did Reid sabotage the bill? Well, there’s no official word from Reid on that, but there are plenty of others out there willing to offer up their theories. If you asked Reid, I’m sure he’d say it was to save money.

Global Warming – Is It Real?

There appears to be quite a bit of debate about the phenomenon known as ‘global warming’. Does it exist or does it not exist?

As in many great debates there appears to be multiple opinions about the issue. A few years ago, Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work (film) on global warming. Yet, many scientists have come out to say there is no evidence of global warming. In fact, the prestigious NASA, with its vast array of intellectual capital and high caliber scientists seems to be saying there is no evidence of it.

GOP Senator Scott Brown Pro-Abortion

Scott Brown defends pro-abortion stance (OneNewsNow.com)

I just read this and was sickened by it. While it is very encouraging to see a GOP Senator in Massachusetts, I find it a tough pill to swallow when Republicans support abortion. I have always considered myself a fiscal moderate and socially conservative. According to his comments below, we are nearly opposites. I will be removing the link I have to his site immediately.

Associated Press smallSen. Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts)WASHINGTON - Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts says he opposes federal funding for abortions, but thinks women should have the right to choose whether to have one.

Dust Control is Continuously the earliest to expire when towns slash everyday expenditures

As many towns are attempting to last longer than the central bank induced fiscal devastation, services for those communities are on the block.  Countless times we presuppose the services that our taxes deliver, and whether or not you understand it, all those revenue taxes that you give are not going to these services. Those taxes go off to the secretive banks that own the Federal Reserve central bank. The taxes which are utilized to preserve our state, county or town, are derived from taxes that we pay whilst living our lives.
