Government Control: The Granting Of Favors, Reinforcing Bad Behavior

“You have to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues.”

But it certainly does not come easy. The message from most of the lawmakers is loud and clear: “You must bribe your way through if you want to influence most of the politicians of Washington DC.” Our nation’s capital, now more than any time in history, is a sewer pipe for corruption. 85 percent of your representatives and senators are wallowing in pork and bribes.

Do you know what pork barrel politics is named after? In the early days of the republic when slavery was legal, a plantation owner would feed his slaves by putting a barrel of salted pork in the middle of the slaves’ quarters so the slaves could fight over it. The strongest slaves would get most of the pork. The weakest slaves would get no pork at all. The strong would continue to get stronger. The weak would continue to get weaker. The same is true today of congress. The strong (those incumbents who have built up their cash flow) get tax payers’ money to go to their home states and districts. The weak (the rookie congressmen and women) have to wait before they can bite into the pork (the tax payers’ money) and become more expedient components of the corrupt machine.

Congress feeds bad behavior. Presidents reward bad behavior. AIG was practicing maladaptive behavior. They were bailed out. They should have been allowed to fail. Every bank that does not practice good behavior should be allowed to fail. Unfortunately, government has been acting as a nanny for bad banks practicing bad behavior. Government is like the mother that kisses her child while the child is having a temper fit, thereby encouraging more bad behavior in the future.

You Have Been Lied To

When a car company is practicing bad behavior it should be allowed to fail. When a car company is so badly managed it has financial trouble, it should be allowed to fail. The corrupt unions should be allowed to fail along with the management. After all, most of the unions are sucking the life blood out of the corporations. Otherwise, they will never learn their lesson. However, here too, government insists on bailing out selected car companies and selected unions, using your money. When is the nonsense going to end? Only when the tax payers get so sick of it that they are willing to dump the reprobates who are simply perpetuating the corrupt system.

It’s no wonder that Hollywood, another bastion of corruption, portrays Freudian psychology in its movies and television programs instead of behavior psychology. The media can be much more effective at keeping the population mentally asleep if they emphasize the obsolete Freudian psychology.

Behavior Psychology Trumps Freudian Psychology Every Time It Is Tried

Generally, the people of Washington DC are shocked when they see a congressman or congresswoman who is not corrupt, whereas the rest of the population believes it to be like a breath of fresh air to oppose the rancid odor of corruption that is so familiar to us all. The corrupt politicians apparently believe the voters and taxpayers are fools who only need to be manipulated by the media who are manipulated by the sorcerers of medical supply and the politicians, most of whom never saw a bribe they didn’t like.

If we the people keep doing the same thing, then we the people will continue getting the same nonsense from the same turkeys every day of the year including Thanksgiving.
