Midland, TX is the county seat of Midland county. Midland got it's name for being the half way point between Fort Worth, TX and El Paso, TX. The polulation of Midland County is over a quarter million people while the population of the city of Midland, TX is 95,000. Midland is also the hometown of two very famous GOP supporters; former President George W Bush and his wife, First Lady Laura Bush!

Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D) calls it “investing in America.” The jobs bill passed the Senate with a vote of 70 to 28, with 55 Democrats, 13 Republicans, and two independents voting for it.
