I just read this and was sickened by it. While it is very encouraging to see a GOP Senator in Massachusetts, I find it a tough pill to swallow when Republicans support abortion. I have always considered myself a fiscal moderate and socially conservative. According to his comments below, we are nearly opposites. I will be removing the link I have to his site immediately.

WASHINGTON - Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts says he opposes federal funding for abortions, but thinks women should have the right to choose whether to have one.

Evidence against ACORN, ‘More than sufficient’ (OneNewsNow.com)
Congress voted to cut off funding to ACORN last week after videos surfaced showing employees at several ACORN offices across the country offering tax help to a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute who wanted to obtain an illegal housing loan for their brothel. Dirty Secret No. 1 in Obamacare – Myopenforum
Dirty secret No. 1 in Obamacare is about the government’s coming into homes and usurping parental rights over child care and development.
It’s outlined in sections 440 and 1904 of the House bill (Page 838), under the heading “home visitation programs for families with young children and families expecting children.” The programs (provided via grants to states) would educate parents on child behavior and parenting skills.
The bill says that the government agents, “well-trained and competent staff,” would “provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains … modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices,” and “skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development.”
